Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you record or upload a tennis session, we collect the video, performance metrics derived from the session (such as swing speed, positioning, or movement patterns), and the AI-generated coaching feedback produced from that session. We may also collect basic device and usage information necessary to operate and secure the app.
How We Use Your Information
We use your account information to authenticate you, provide access to your sessions, maintain account security, and deliver customer support. We use uploaded videos and related performance data to generate coaching feedback and improve the quality and reliability of our services.
AI Model Improvement
With your explicit consent, we may use de-identified and anonymized video sessions and performance metrics to train, improve, and optimize our proprietary machine learning and AI models. Participation is optional and is not required to use CoachVisionAI. Information used for model improvement is processed in a manner designed to prevent it from being linked back to your identity.
Third-Party Services
We use Supabase (supabase.com) for account authentication and secure data storage. When you record a tennis session and tap "Agree & Continue" on the consent prompt, your video recording is transmitted to and processed by Google's Gemini API (ai.google.dev) on Google's servers solely to generate AI coaching feedback. Google processes this data subject to its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We use the Gemini API in a configuration that does not allow submitted videos to be used to train or improve Google's AI models. No video data is sent to any third party before you provide explicit in-app consent.
Data Security
We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your videos, performance metrics, and coaching feedback are retained until you delete them or close your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Once information has been fully anonymized and incorporated into aggregated model improvements, it may no longer be possible to associate that information with an individual user or remove it from aggregate datasets.
Your Privacy Rights
You may request access to the personal information we maintain about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, withdraw consent for optional AI model improvement, or request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Children's Privacy
CoachVisionAI is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that such information has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, including changes to how information is used for AI model improvement, we will notify users through the app or by email as required by applicable law.
